Things I Need Graded

Shape way project and the cloth project need to be graded. The final robot render also needs to be graded as well.Check blog everything is on the blog.

This is the close to the end for this robot. These are some of the different screen shot renders of the robot in a  light. The main colors of this robot are red and black. The back of the robot is plane on him not much could be done on the back. The lack of detail on the back is because I could not in vision something for the back side. The front shows a little more detail on him with his face and body part placement. The place of his visor would not change color because of it being built with the helmt at the same time. Background also had to be develop in the screen shot other wise you couldn't see his black body paint. Pulse he would be just be floating in mid air if I did not put the background in it may have not have as good of a render any way. The robot it self is done with all of it body parts and the background will probably not change. Other than that it will need more rendering by the end of this year to be total complete.

Adding the legs today of the robot. Then adding more detail to him a long the way. Now he also has color to him for more detail. This is only the front view, all other views will come later. Had to put a background behind him or you couldn't see the black parts of his color in the render. This is not the render though. That it for today.

Robot building

This is what the robot looks like so far. The lower section is still needed and some more details are also needed to complete the robot. Should be done shortly but still needs more details and pieces to make it the robot I want it to be. That all for today.

Little by little

The Robot is getting done little bit each day. It should be done in a couple of weeks. Still building the robot and still need to render and everything. It is slowly coming along but will be finished by the end of the school year or shorter than that. This is all for today.

Robot building process

This is what the robot looks like so far in the building process. I can do more on the body but I am very happy about the head that I made. The head will probably not change any time soon but the rest is a work in progress. This is all for today and the screen shots will be below. Have a nice day.

Shapeway

Shape way is making idea come alive with the 3d printer. People can create art, parts, and more to print out and be sold. Shows how people can go on this website and go sell there creativity. That many of our idea can come to life and be seen by everyone. That broken parts can be made for things that have broke in the home, car, and loss parts. 

Robot all day every day

Building the robot and so far I think it looks good but still need to figure out how to make it look better. The head of the robot I am happy at the moment but there is more detail that I need to put into it. The body though needs a lot more work on details and structure. I do have the shape of the body down but it still to normal. I want it to be different than what it is looking like right now. This is what was done today so far.

Robot building process

Trying to build the basic of my robot and how I want to get it to look. So far it is in a work in progress. General build should be done by this week and then more complicated stuff later. Again I am only have a certain amount of time to get parts done. Which I need to plan what I need to get done and finish it on schedule.

Robot Hunting

Today I was just looking for reference images for the robot that I want to build. Looking at heads,arms,legs, and bodies of robots. Also looking at the hook ups within the robots and the wiring and connection settings with the robot it self. Looking at different angles of the robots to determine how it will look and how it will build from head to toe. 

Ncloth covering object

Cover a cone, pipe, and cylinder with a cloth that is a normal plane.

Screwdriver + Booleans do not mix well

The big problem is that Maya does not want to Boolean the screwdriver handle.  That is what the big problem that is stopping me from finishing the screwdriver. The Boolean tool does not work some time when working in Maya. I have looked up the problem and there isn't really anything to do. Other than do it by hand in Maya.

Scholastic Art

 The first image is cool in how the people in cars are going into a large city not really noticing the fire. The forest fire is sort of pushing this people to the city. Kind of make you think what started the fire, this is what I like about this one.

 The second image is a bit strange and unique in it's own way. I just like how the darkness of the painting is contrasting with the lighter pieces of the painting. Try to figure how every thing corresponds with each other. 

 I just like how this one looks in this piece. The metal or whatever looks very good. I like how looks very fierce.

 This one I like the details of the art and the contrast. How the flowers pop from the painting and is very cool looking on the tree. I like the colors as well on this piece of art.

I like the bright colors of the dragon and how it contrasts with the sky. That I also really like dragons that is why chose this one. This is probably my favorite out of all the art in the award slide show.

Screwdriver Day 1

I have the outline of the screwdriver and made the lines center with the image line. The one big issue that I am having with the screwdriver is the revolution of it. The screw driver is not revolving in the right way when I revolve it. Turns out a lot different than what it is suppose to look like. I am follow the direction and the number correctly in the instructions but it is not revolving how want it to revolve.
